At a glance...

As you read about my prior work experiences, extracurricular activities and academic endeavors, a common theme will emerge. I have always given my all for organizations and causes greater than myself. This has been true whether I was learning the ropes of grassroots political organizing with the Democratic Party, fighting for human and civil rights with Amnesty International and the ACLU, or keeping students on my campus and beyond informed as a journalist with the Auburn Plainsman and USA Today College.

Following my graduation in the Fall of 2012 from Auburn University, I began working on the front lines of the most critical public policy issue facing our nation: education reform. As a Fellow at Nashville Prep, one of the highest performing and exciting charter schools in Tennessee, I am witnessing the most innovative and effective models in public education. Going forward, I hope to contribute to the national push for excellent schools in whatever capacity I am able.
